They can surely do better than the NME.

Doesn't matter were they get the exposer as long as people get the chance to read about this band.
The newspaper the sun is a load of trash but a lot of people read it. Friday they have a hole music bit with all kind's of band's they should get on that. 8-)

Good man.

Not the greatest scenario for a 3+ year in-the-making album to flop. All we have for now is that tiring "Coming Soon" on the news section of their website.

We should all chip in together for a billboard if Code Red does the artwork.

They said on twitter back in July that it will likely be next year for the album.

It needs updating but perhaps it's a technical issue rather than impending news.

The other day I sent Mig a message through Myspace asking how things were going and today he sent a reply.

Quote:
Yeah, we have been a bit quiet of late... Lots happening behind the scenes. All good!
Album is coming along .
Some things you just can't rush : )
Lots of news to follow...

He was kind enough to respond so fair play to him.

Please can we have some info. its 2013 now i started this 18months ago
You cant find anything about the band anywhere how about putting track's video's online
On say lastfm nme or any sites like this.
The band/management really need to promo them selves' or it's gonna all fall on it's arse.
You would think by now single release would have a date

I know i'm moaning but like everybody else on hear i just what to hear some music. because if they can get it right it could be fucking mega....come on :D

Until they set a release date, I can't see any promotion happening. Imagine, if it was promoted, then delayed (as you pointed out its been a long time), it wouldn't look very good. You'll find the occasional update on their Facebook. Hoping it happens this year, as has been reported in a couple places.

Cheers man.. just had a wee panic attack there lol... just wanna see and hear this band.
Yeah they have never released a date for the album apart from late 2011 on the album teaser video.
Love the music on that teaser even transferred it on to a cd with all the other stuff so far.
Know what your saying. but if they set a date it's something to work too. other wise we could still be talking about this. this time next year......**** that's blown it LOL
But maybe they have already set a date and kept it to themselves'
Anyway fingers crossed for some news soon

right where's me tame impala cd at..

Actually a number of release dates were given out through SimonR, when he used to speak the band, from the middle of 2010 until about a year later. They were as follows:

July 2010: 'from the horses mouth by the end of the year is the target. Got no reason to think they won't do it'

October 2010: 'Spoke with Nick a couple of days ago...sat at desk editing...it's all done, they're just getting it spot on'

December 2010: '2011 will see an album, live dates and much more.'

April 2011: 'the album...second half of this year'

July 2011: 'Spotted a comment on their Twitter page about the album. Release date looks to be early next year.'

When it'll be released is now anyone's guess, though I doubt they'll let this entire year pass without releasing something.

Can't believe that they haven't released a date for the album yet..a debut band would
You think have had couple of single's out now.
Maybe a album out next year...java heat film is out this month. but wouldn't be surprised if a soundtrack cd didn't happen
Would be quite happy if they just split up and put me out of my misery
