One of life's great mysteries is why i haven't heard black submarine on the radio

Looks like the band have never been played on the radio. or nobody has hear them
Not very good for a band thats been going for five years. don't like to be so cynical but this group don't help themselves

There's a small but loyal market for the kind of gothy atmospheric britpop their few minor releases have suggested, enough that if the album is as good as some suggest, it could generate some niche buzz. It's baffling that so little has come out yet. There have got to be at least a few thousand people around the world who might buy a t-shirt, come to another one-off gig, or throw a few bucks in the till -- why not just put something out there?

I hope the band didn't make a suicide pact at reading this description of their efforts.

Being a career radio person, I can't fathom hearing black submarine on the radio. But that's the state of radio in the US. Could one really expect to hear them on the radio where you live.....which is where, by the way?

LOL!

Sorry man but I've actually had to turn down an offer to be on the front cover of GQ.

I had to give other men a fair chance to not always be in my shadow.

I've petitioned Guy Garvey to play it on his show as a "song for Guy recommendation". Hasn't happened yet, but seems a likely avenue given that he's a huge Verve fan and regularly plays stuff off ANS.

I think it's hard to get radio play if you're not signed to a major label.
